Trimming the Tree

Landon enjoyed trimming the Christmas tree this week. His favorite part was grabbing the beads and running around the room as they followed after him. Hope everyone had a great Christmas. We are off to Lancaster tomorrow to visit with family for a few days. I will post Christmas morning pics soon.

Maggie Arrives!

Landon's Aunt Regan & Uncle Drew welcomed little miss Maggie into the world on 12/19. Here are some pics of Landon's first visit with his new cousin, as he calls her Mammie. She sure is a cutie!!

Cutting the Tree!

Here are a few pics of us cutting down the Christmas tree this year. Landon (even though he loves the snow normally) of course insisted on being carried up and down and all around the hill. Not feeling the snow during this outing. But we found a tree and Landon seemed to approve, especially when he was back in the car and watching his Baby Einsten DVD. As he says whenever we get in the car now "Watch This!"

Fun In Slippery Rock

I am a bit behind on the blog. We have been having a great time in PA enjoying the lead up to Christmas together. The shopping, wrapping and baking is finally done and we are ready for Christmas. Here are some pics from the last week or so.

Landon's First Haircut

Here are a few pics of Landon's first "professional" haircut that he got last week. We knew that he wasn't going to like it as he didn't like me cutting his hair at all. We bribed him with a candy cane but it didn't help too much. Thankfully it was fast and he was as happy as could be after the scissors were put away and he could focus on his candy cane. I don't think any of us are looking forward to the next haircut anytime soon!

Vermont Trip

Landon and Mommy went to visit Grandma & Grandpa Cacka last week in Vermont. He had a great time playing, being read to, and playing in the snow. He especially enjoyed looking for their two kitties all around the house.

Landon is going to be a big brother...

For those of you who don't already know, Landon is excited to let you know that he is going to be a big brother! As his shirt says, "I am not monkeying around, I am going to be a big brother!" His little brother or sister is set to arrive in May!

Christmas Market

It is Christmas Market season here in Germany! Ryan, Landon and I checked out the market in Mannheim this weekend. The highlight is definitely the yummy food. We tried out the bratwurst and roasted nuts. Landon was still a bit too young for the rides but he enjoyed all of the people watching!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Here are a few pics from our Thanksgiving. Landon having fun with his toys and trying out some turkey and fixings. He is recently in a hat phase and loves to wear them around the house and of course when we go outside. He will come up to us and say HAT, HAT until we go and get him one. It makes bundling him up to go out in the cold easier these days...lets hope it lasts!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!

Here are our pics from Halloween night. Landon made it to a few houses but enjoyed hanging out in the yard while we gave out candy to the trick or treaters. As you can see in the last pic he had lollipop lips and had a nice chocolate high by the end!
