Barnyard Dance!!

Here are some pics of Landon enjoying himself with the animals at the park. He was not afraid at all (of course) and did not want to leave the petting zoo area (he wasn't too keen on being held back by Mom and Dad either). He had a great time and was gentle with them. Lots of practicing "being gentle" on our kitties had prepared him well. (Barnyard Dance is one of Landon's favorite books...remember Grandma & Grandpa Russell??...I am sure you have it memorized still!)

Lochmuele Fun!

We visited Lochmuele today which is a farm themed amusement park/petting zoo not too far from where we live. We figured this would be right up Landon's alley as he LOVES anything involving animals! Here are some pics of Landon enjoying some of the rides and playground stuff in the park. This was all fun and everything but it paled in comparison to the animals that we got to visit. I'll post those pics in the next posting...

Landon may not have been impressed by the cathedral in Cologne, but he definitely enjoyed their pigeons.

COLOGNE

On Labor Day we took a trip to Cologne to check out the city and their famous cathedral. The cathedral was impressive and very beautiful. As you can see from Landon's face after our tour he was not quite as impressed ;)

Busy Bee

Landon has been busy learning to climb up on as many things as he can lately...he has not yet mastered how to get back down very safely ;) But his favorite pastime is still reading his books...he can never get enough!!
