Random Stuff

Landon has been keeping busy this week even though we are still waiting for some better outside play weather. He has always loved the vacuum cleaner and when it stopped working the other day he was very concerned. He kept saying "vacuum broken." So when Daddy came home and was not going to tend to the vacuum immediately he was very upset. He finally grabbed Daddy's hand and said "Do It!" So here they are fixing it (or as Landon says Fee Foo). He also got out his tool box to help. In fact after Daddy was finished he continued to work on it for another 20 minutes :)










































Landon is enjoying seeing all of his old baby stuff come back out. He especially likes his old bouncy seat which he says is the baby's but still squeezes into it.

Yay, Swimming! Ummm, not so much...

On our last morning at the resort it was rainy out so we thought we would take Landon down to try out the pool. Well, he was not a fan! I am thinking that it was a little too cold and deep. He is loves his bath and the kiddie pool that we have, but this was not quite the same. The water was chest deep for him and he lasted about 3 minutes. But he sure does look cute in his bathing suit!!

We finally broke down and bought Landon some lederhosen. Not that he wanted it but we wanted to see him in it and with another little boy coming along we thought the splurge was worth it. (They are not cheap!) He still has some growing into it. Here he is with the Flat Stanley that his cousin Zachary had sent over to get some pics with and we just sent back.

Innsbruck, Austria

After the Easter Egg hunt we headed down to Innsbruck, Austria to spend the day. It was a beautiful drive through the mountains and we enjoyed checking out the city!















They had an Easter market in the city center and musicians walking through playing music.















































We made a pit stop at a park for Landon to stretch his legs. He had a good time especially chasing after the pigeons.

Easter Egg Hunt

The resort had an Easter egg hunt on Sunday and Landon had a good time. He loves being around all of the other kids. He wasn't quite as sure about the Easter bunny but he did better than last year.

Landon couldn't wait to go grab some eggs. If Landon's feet are on the ground he is off and doesn't look back!

It was a pretty easy hunt as you can see the lawn is littered with eggs.






























He loved collecting the eggs. He didn't even notice that they were filled with candy.













Then we went to see the Easter Bunny! He tolerated it for a few seconds then asked Daddy to pick him up. No tears this year though ;)

Castles in Bavarian Alps

Over the Easter weekend we took a trip to Garmisch in the Bavarian Alps. We went to see two famous castles and stayed at Edelweiss Resort. Here are some pics from our first couple of days.

It was a beautiful day and we enjoyed walking around and had lunch outside.
