Day Out With Thomas!

This weekend we headed to Strasburg, PA for our Day out with Thomas! Landon was super excited to see Thomas ;) We took a ride on Thomas' passenger cars and the boys got their very own train whistles. Gavin and Landon were also very excited that their cousins Madison and Zachary and Aunt Julie and Uncle George came along for the special day.

Landon's First Day of Preschool!

Well the day finally arrived (yesterday) for Landon to start preschool. He will be going two mornings a week and we are really excited for him to have his first school experience!

Mommy and her little boy (or as Landon likes to remind me...my BIG boy!) Mommy was anxious and couldn't wait to pick him up at noon, but so happy for him as well!

Here are a couple of pics after Landon's teacher (Mrs. Hermesmeyer) called the last two kids for dismissal and he saw me at the door. Thought he might run over his classmate there for a second :) There are only eight kids in his class and a teacher and assistant.

So glad to see Daddy there at pickup!!

Post dinner celebratory ice cream trip. Landon is really good about sharing the ice cream with his brother...they got quite messy as Landon insisted on a cone after seeing two boys eating them on our way in. Gavin didn't mind a bit!

The boys were showing their patriotic side this weekend in observance of the anniversary of the 9-11 attacks. So thankful to be in America!!!

Our Labor Day Trip

Well, needless to say Landon and Gavin were not ready to head back home after their fun weekend in PA with all of the family. The first couple of hours on the road Landon kept randomly saying from the backseat, "I guess I will go back to Grandma & PopPop's house" while shrugging his shoulders ;)

Silly Cousins!!

We spent the holiday weekend in Slippery Rock this past weekend and the boys had a great time visiting with everyone! They especially had a fun time playing with their cousin Maggie ;) They loved chasing each other around the house in a big circle and Maggie introduced them to a new kind of treat - a bowl of ice ;) Probably was extra nice as both Maggie and Gavin were teething. In fact, Gavin started off the weekend with one eye tooth coming in and he now has all four poking through. He seems to get them in batches which doesn't feel good but gets it over with I suppose.

Cousins!!

Here are some great pics of the boys with their cousins Zachary and Madison! They had a ball and can't wait to see them again in a couple of weeks. Grandma & Grandpa also babysat one evening and fun was had by all!!
