Landon sure is getting spoiled ;) Here he is opening his Easter basket from Grandma & Grandpa Russell! Lots of yummy candy (he is apparently a big fan of the marshmallow bunnies - he just shoves the whole thing in his mouth and chews as blue stuff oozes out- haha!) He was excited to see some Thomas trains in his basket as well - always a sure hit!
A new Percy with shiny green wheels and a DVD (or DB as Landon calls them)
A motorized Thomas - Landon saying "Open peas!"
Testing it out on the track as soon as it is out of the box!

Easter Eggs and Baskets
Since we are going out of town next week over the holiday weekend we had our Easter dinner and egg coloring/basket time today. Landon had a good time "drawing" on his eggs but he was most happy when we finally opened one for him to eat. In his words..."open peas"
Landon checking out his Easter basket and all the goodies. He doesn't have a huge sweet tooth so one blue marshmallow bunny and a tiny bite size chocolate egg was all he had today. He was too excited about his new Thomas books. (Afterwards when Ryan and I were cleaning up in the kitchen we looked out at him to see what he was doing and he was sitting with his books and proceeded to kiss one of the pages and then give the book a hug and said aaahhhh. Too funny!)
Here he is opening his Easter basket from Grandma & Grandpa Cacka. Here is his face when he realizes that the box contains a new train - Gordon!
He immediately tested him out on his train track. He was in heaven!!
Here are a couple of pics from when we went to Wiesbaden's Easter market last weekend. It was a nice morning to walk around and we of course purchased some handpainted German easter eggs to bring home for decoration.

The Number 1 Blue Engine!!
First day back on the playground on Thursday and our little bug took a face plant...here is a pic of his battle scar. I think all in all Mom took it much worse than he did. :( Here he is last night after his bath combing his hair.
This morning we had a surprise for Landon as we got his Thomas tent in the mail and set it up. Here are pics of him waking up this morning and checking out Thomas.
Saying HI to his best buddy Thomas!
This thing is huge as it also came with the attached Annie and Clarabel coach cars to make a cool tunnel. He loves tunnels so this is a big hit!
Here is a pic of our other little man...getting bigger everyday ;)

St. Patrick's Day
Here are some pics of Landon from St. Patrick's Day.
I went to look for Landon and found him in his room on the rocker "reading" his Elmo book.
Hamming it up in his shamrocker t-shirt
He wasn't quite sure what to think of this pom pom headband that Mommy put on his head when I found them in the closet.
Debating how best to attack his St. Paddy's day treat...
Just go for it!! He licked all of the icing off and left the cake. He knows what is the best part ;)
