Easter Eggs and Baskets

Since we are going out of town next week over the holiday weekend we had our Easter dinner and egg coloring/basket time today. Landon had a good time "drawing" on his eggs but he was most happy when we finally opened one for him to eat. In his words..."open peas"

Landon checking out his Easter basket and all the goodies. He doesn't have a huge sweet tooth so one blue marshmallow bunny and a tiny bite size chocolate egg was all he had today. He was too excited about his new Thomas books. (Afterwards when Ryan and I were cleaning up in the kitchen we looked out at him to see what he was doing and he was sitting with his books and proceeded to kiss one of the pages and then give the book a hug and said aaahhhh. Too funny!)

Here he is opening his Easter basket from Grandma & Grandpa Cacka. Here is his face when he realizes that the box contains a new train - Gordon!

He immediately tested him out on his train track. He was in heaven!!

Here are a couple of pics from when we went to Wiesbaden's Easter market last weekend. It was a nice morning to walk around and we of course purchased some handpainted German easter eggs to bring home for decoration.
