Well, after an exciting and tiring 5 days in Rome we headed out of the big city and went back into beautiful Tuscany and stayed in Siena for two nights. It was the perfect way to end our two week adventure. The town was relaxing and had a beautiful town square (below). I climbed up to the top of the city tower and got some great views of the town and the Tuscan countryside (below).
The gelato (ice cream) was amazing...we actually visited this place twice in one day it was so good!!

Thanks for all the lovely pictures. I felt like I was back enjoying the beauty of it all through your visit. I still marvel at doing it with two wee ones. It was gruelingly exhausting for me, just trying to get ourselves around. But, oh how wonderful too. You must have a trunk full of wonderful memories.
