We headed to Pittsburgh in September as well for the Great Race. We met up with the Russell/Dickert side of the family and stayed downtown. It really is a pretty city! Unfortunately it rained during the race so we didn't get to see much, but it was fun catching up with family and we had a couple of fun family meals out at Max & Erma's and our favorite Mad Mex!
