Playdates!!

Landon had a busy week of entertaining. He hosted 3 playdates at his house this week. Here is a pic from his playdate with Freddie yesterday. They had a good time showing off their crawling skills. They also visited the Botanical Gardens nearby and Landon showed Freddie the swings and slide at the playground in our community.

Landon has been teething the last few days (you can see him playing with his gums in this pic). His two bottom front teeth are coming in (Yay, finally!) One has just broken through a bit and he is handling it well...so far :)

Sunday at the Park

After a couple of cloudy days it was nice to be back at the park again! Here are a couple of pics of Landon enjoying one of his favorite spots...the swings.

I DID IT!!

Landon is now pulling himself up to a standing position...and he loves doing it. He did this yesterday and was very proud of himself so I grabbed the camera to take his pic. He also loves to "dance" to the music, which consists of shaking his head and bouncing. Hopefully I can get it on video and post it on the blog soon.

HAPPY EASTER!!!

Happy Easter everyone! It was another beautiful day here so we spent the afternoon at the park today. After supervising the painting of the eggs, Landon went on his own egg hunt. (We made it easy on him ;)) He also visited with the Easter bunny yesterday and was not digging him at all. He did not want to be left alone with him. I can't say I blame him...he looks a bit creepy. We will see if the pic they took turns out. Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Trip to the park

Landon enjoyed his grandparents last day in Germany by taking them to the park. We are being spoiled over here these last couple of weeks with beautiful weather. Let's hope it stays!

BELLY LAUGHS!!!

Landon was still in good spirits even after our long trip to Rothenburg and back. Here are a series of pics of him and his Dad playing peekaboo after we got home. Landon thinks Dad is the funniest person ever ;)

ROTHENBURG

On Thursday we took a road trip to Rothenburg, which was well worth the drive. It is a neat walled-in town from the Middle Ages. It was a beautiful day with spring flowers in full bloom. The town had lots of great shopping including many Christmas shops. The grandparents lefts with quite a few goodies.

HEIDELBERG

Last Sunday we took a trip to Heidelberg. We toured the castle above the town and did some shopping. Landon did well through all of our traveling. He loves people watching! The Grandparents headed to Paris the next day for 3 days, so he got some time to rest up before another adventure. The only thing on his schedule was playgroup date, which he loves!! This week's host also has a cat, so he spent much of the time squealing and yelling when the cat came into the room. He loves kitties :)

FRANKFURT

We spent last Saturday in downtown Frankfurt. It was another beautiful day for sightseeing and walking around town. We indulged in lots of good german food, beer and desserts!

Rhine River Trip

Since Ryan was still out of town at the Nato summit in Baden-Baden, the four of us took a tour of the Rhine River. Landon had his first boat trip where we were able to see lots of castles along the way, and he also took his first cable chair lift ride. He was mildly entertained...the highlight of his day was carrying around and sucking on his diaper cream tube. Very exciting! Go figure :)

Grandparents Arrive!

Landon is having a good time with his grandparents this week. The nice weather came just in time for their visit! Our first day together was filled with lots of playing and a walk in the park.

Kitty Chasing!

Simon and Chloe are having to be a little quicker these days. Landon is hot on their trails. Here are a couple of pics of Landon and Simon after he chased him from the floor. Landon LOVES his kitties! Whenever he sees them he smiles and yells and when we say where is kitty he looks around the room until he finds them.

We have been busy this past week as Grandma & Grandpa Cacka have been visiting. They are in Paris for a few days so I will try to update the blog with some pics of all of our sightseeing. Landon has been a busy little tourist!!
