Trick-or-Treat!!!

The time is finally here for some trick-or-treating! The boys have been waiting for weeks for this and they are ready to go!!

Our little superheroes: Batman and Flash

They wanted Mommy to be a witch

and Captain America was picked for Daddy

Of course we are the first ones out and ready to start!

They started at our treat basket...He loves lollipops! He pooped out after about 1 hour of knocking on doors and then Daddy just carried him while he consumed 2 lollipops.

Landon did not tire too easily from getting treats. After 1 and half hours and a more than overflowing baskets we called it a night!

 Conspiring...

Pumpkin Cake

The boys were at it again, mixing up the ingredients for their pumpkin cake and their favorite part of adding the sprinkles!

Carving Pumpkins

On Halloween day we carved our pumpkins and toasted some pumpkin seeds. Landon wanted a scary face and Gavin wanted a happy face. Neither of them was too sure about the goopy insides. Landon passed on it and Gavin gave it a little bit of a go!

Random October Fun!

Getting ready to cheer for the Steelers!!! Landon loves watching the games and is always checking the scores of all the teams throughout the day and the next. Looks like Dad has a partner in crime.

Cheering during the Pitt football game

Landon showing Gavin his boat he made at school

Reading a Halloween book together

Playdoh time while Landon is at school. He could play with this stuff for hours!

Camping out in the basement during Hurricane Sandy. The boys were excited but Gavin was melting down because he wanted to sleep in Landon's tiny tent with him. He was happy when we put the Thomas playtent over his pack and play. Whatever works!!

We are expecting again!! We told the boys after we found out the sex of the baby, A GIRL! at 20 weeks. Funny how they didn't notice the belly really. Landon was super excited and asked a ton of questions...the first of which was "How did she get in there?" and Gavin says he is excited and then proceeds to go play. We have some time for it to sink in...this week he just told me that he has a baby in his belly.

Grandma & Grandpa Russell Visit

One weekend in October Grandma & Grandpa Russell stopped through for a visit. Here are some pics of their visit. Landon was excited for them to come and see him at soccer practice too!

Fall Leaves

One morning we took a walk through the neighborhood and had a fun time checking out the leaves and skipping stones in the pond. These two have such a great time together...it is neat to watch!

Sticker and Pumpkin Fun

The boys thought these pumpkin stickers were pretty cool and they had a good time putting the different faces together!
