More Birthday Cake Fun!!

Landon had another go around at his Elmo cake. He enjoyed it quite a bit. The clean-up was a bit rough this time around. Elmo did not fare very well now that Landon got the hang of this stuff ;)

Birthday Presents!

Landon had lots of fun opening up his birthday gifts. Here he is test driving his puppy in his Polamalu Steeler jersey and checking out some of his other goodies!!

Ice Cream!!!!!!!

Landon sure does love ice cream! You can't give it to him fast enough. He has had more than his fair share this week. He now notices if someone else walks by with a cone and he wants a lick of their cone as well.

ZOO

Landon started off his birthday celebration on Wednesday by going to the zoo with Grandma, Grandpa, Mom and Dad.

Burg Eltz

On Tuesday we took a trip to Burg Eltz a castle that has never been destroyed and has been owned by the same family for almost 1000 years. It was a nice weather day which was good as the trek down and back was a pretty steep walk from the parking area. Landon enjoyed the courtyard area as he was not interested in touring the inside at all ;)

The Rhein

On Monday we took a drive up along the Rhein River and checked out some castles. Then we did a little shopping in Rudesheim where Landon enjoyed a little bit of everyone's ice cream cone. Needless to say he wasn't pleased when everyone had finished and he couldn't get another lick!!

Birthday Gifts!!!

Landon's party started out with rainy weather but it turned around and the sun made an appearance. He had lots of fun opening up his gifts from all of his buddies! We were very thankful Grandma & Grandpa were there to help with the party. After the party Landon took a nice long nap once the sugar wore off ;)

Yummy Cake!!

Landon had his first birthday party on Sunday here in Frankfurt. Many of his playmates made it to the festivities and Landon enjoyed himself! Here are a few pics of him digging into the cake. He definitely preferred the chocolate elmo cake (sorry Dad he does not have your dislike of chocolate!)

Grandparents Arrive!!

Landon is in heaven now that his grandparents have arrived! He is getting lots of play time with them and he especially likes being read to...over and over again ;) Today we are going to go downtown in Frankfurt to do a little sightseeing if the weather cooperates. It has been a bit rainy and cool but we are hoping it turns around for his birthday bbq tomorrow. If not, there are always more books and toys that Landon can dig out for Grandma and Grandpa!!

Anxiously awaiting...

Landon is anxiously awaiting the arrival of Grandma & Grandpa Russell! They arrive tomorrow morning and all day he has been waving at the computer when we say their names. I think he will have a good surprise tomorrow ;) Lots of fun grandparent time ahead...

A Year Later...;)

Just looking through pics from a year ago and came across this belly shot...wow can't believe how big my belly was! Can't believe a year has almost gone by already. We are looking forward to celebrating Landon's first birthday on July 22nd! His Grandparent Russells will be here to help him celebrate the big day!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMERICA!

Hope everyone had a wonderful 4th of July! It was a beautiful day here in Germany. They had a party/bbq here in our neighborhood and Landon had a good time being outside!!

Being Goofy!

Landon never liked the pacifier as he much prefers his thumb. However, recently he likes to play with it at times. He will throw it until it lands right side up and he can pick it up with his mouth off the floor and then do it all over again!
