Random Fun

Here are pics of Landon getting ready for his pajama day at school last week. Unfortunately he woke up with a bit of a head cold and I couldn't decide if it was bad enough to keep him home from school. We got dressed and I told him we would see how he feels. Well, he just went downhill and I asked him if it would be okay if we stopped to get donuts and went back home to cuddle and watch a movie instead. He said yes, so I knew he must not feel well. He still had a pajama day at home with me and Gavin!

The boys love to play superhero dress-up in the basement. It is fun to listen to the scenarios they come up with and try to get the bad guys :)

Movie night with popcorn...a favorite at our house!

Mommy at 32 weeks...the boys are getting excited and love rubbing Mommy's tummy and talking to their sister!

Snow in DC Finally!

After waiting all winter last year and this year we finally got some snow in DC. Well it was only about an inch but at least it was something. The boys still liked getting out and making snow angels and tasting the white stuff. Gavin said after taking a bite, "Snow is my favorite dinner!"

Valentine Decorations

I admit that I am a holiday junkie and it seems to be rubbing off on the boys as well. Landon is alsways asking what holiday is next and when can we put up the decorations. So we dug out our Valentine decorations and the boys made some of their own as well. They had fun making their paper plate animals to hang up in the house!

Football and playground time!

We have had a few random days this January when it was springlike and we were able to get the boys outside to burn some energy. Here they are playing football with Daddy and then checking out the playground.

Landon loves to throw the ball around

He is drawn to playing in the messy spots. He collected pine cones and mixed them around in the mud with a stick. He had a good time!

Air & Space Museum at Dulles

A couple of weeks ago we met up with the Harts at the Air and Space Museum at Dulles so that the boys could check out all of the airplanes and rockets. They were especially excited to see the Space Shuttle.

Getting ready to ride the flight simulator!

Watching the planes take off at Dulles from up in the tower.

Little German Boys

Mommy and Daddy came across the leiderhosen that we bought in Germany and thought it was a good time to put Gavin in it for some dress-up time. He was not excited about this at all, until we told him that it was a special superhero costume. He promptly ran out to his tool bench to get his "Thor hammer" to fight bad guys :)

Here is a flashback of Landon in the same outfit. He was about 10 months younger than Gavin is in his pic above.

Making airplanes

Here are the boys painting their new wooden airplane crafts earlier this month. They were excited to paint it and put lots of cool stickers on top, and to show Daddy when he came home!
