Baking Cookies

Well, even though it has been beautiful outside this week we haven't gotten out much. Landon has had a nasty cold that seemed to be getting better earlier in the week, then came back even worse. He seems to be getting better and hopefully by the time we leave for Italy on Saturday everyone will be healthy. Fingers crossed!

Anyway we made some cookies the one aftenoon and Landon had a ball. He kept saying "I'm cooking Mommy!" His favorite part was tasting all of his efforts!

Here are our boys in their astronaut pj's. Landon thought it was pretty cool that "Landon and Gavin are astronauts together!" As for Gavin, well, he is like whatever??

Revenge of the neverending nasty cold bug! I wish it were easier to teach a toddler how to blow their nose! So frustrating for them!!

Gavin is 4 months old!

Our little guy is now 4 months old! He is just about 16 lbs. and 26 inches long. His 6 month clothes are getting a bit too short so it won't be long for the 9 month stuff. We are loving watching him grow and change and especially enjoy seeing Landon and Gavin together. Landon will talk to Gavin and he will just light up and laugh - so fun!

Having fun with Elmo that Grandma & Grandpa Cacka sent!

He is now rolling all over the place...he can roll across the room to get where he wants to go.

Daddy's little boy

I have been meaning to post these for a while. Here are some baby pics of Gavin above and some of Ryan below...I think that there are some similarities. Definitely more than with Landon's baby pics. What do you think?

Here are the boys in their Pitt colors on game day last week...and reading a book before nap time.

We had Sam and his parents over for dinner and a last playdate before they left to move back to the U.S. this week.

My Buddy Sam!

Earlier this week we had Landon's best buddy Sam over for the day, as his family was packing out their house. So sad that they are leaving next week, but happy that we will see them again when we get back to DC next spring! Of course the bulk of their day entailed playing with the Thomas trains...they even had another track set-up on the coffee table as the train table just wasn't enough ;) Then since it was a rainy day we had a picnic lunch inside, which they thought was pretty cool!

Our Little Hercules!

Gavin just can't wait anymore to get a turn at the train table. He actually held himself up on his legs for a minute or so until Mommy got too nervous and picked him back up. He loves to stand and his legs are super strong. Landon thinks it is cool when Gavin does this, but I somehow think that it won't last when Gavin is playing for real. Oh well, enjoy the harmony while it lasts ;)

Gavin also rolled over the other way this morning as well. He can now roll over both ways...wondering how long until he starts to crawl. He is only 3.5 months old - he is changing too fast!!!!

Luxembourg Trip

Here are the Luxembourg pics from our weekend trip. The weather was beautiful all weekend and we were able to do a lot of sightseeing and eat outside. As you can see we happened upon another cool playground that had a pirate ship. Definitely Landon's favorite part of Luxembourg!

Trier, Germany Trip

This past weekend we took a trip to Trier, Germany and Luxembourg for two days. Here are the pics from Trier, Germany. It was a beautiful town and is one of the oldest in Germany, founded in 16BC. There are still many of the Roman structures throughout the town.

Here are pics from the playground visit...it is always a great find when we are out sightseeing!

Pics from the Roman amphitheatre just outside of town.
