Soccer with Daddy!

On Saturday Landon had his first soccer class for 3 and 4 year olds. He was pretty excited for it but you never know how long that will last at this age. He had a good time and liked his Coach because he taught him funny tricks to do with the soccer ball. Landon made it the full hour with Dad's help keeping him engaged. (Apparently ony 4 or 5 of them lasted the whole hour) He keeps asking us this week when his next class is so hopefully he will continue to like it. If not, there is always the playground outside when he has had enough. That is where Gavin happily played during his practice!

Landon's Race

Ever since Landon ran his lttle race in October in Hershey he has been asking us when his next race is. So, Ryan found a little charity race near us that had a 1K kid's fun run. Landon was excited to do it, well until halfway through his run anyway. As you can tell by the pictures that he was not happy by the end. Thankfully once he got his medal at the finish line he cheered up. Unfortunately the little bug was exhausted from being sick earlier in the week and having a long day of traveling for the birthday party the day before that he just didn't have the energy or patience for it. He says he wants to do another one, but I think we will wait a while and try an even shorter one next time ;)

Madison's 9th Birthday

This past weekend we went to Lancaster for Maddie's 9th birthday party. The boys had a great day celebrating with their cousins Madison and Zachary and visiting with family. Uncle George rented a giant bounce house which entertained them all day. And of course, Grandma Cacka organized another birthday treasure hunt for all of the kiddos. It was a fun day!

They found a slimy worm and thought it was the coolest thing. Gotta love boys!

Gavin's First Haircut!

The time has come for Gavin to get his first real haircut! Landon was up first so that he could show Gavin how it is done.

I don't think Gavin realized that he was actually going to have to do it this time. Poor bug! Even with a lollipop and his G with him he was not happy!

He did calm down and was a real trooper to get to the end. We were proud of him ;)

Enjoying their lollipops and happy it is over! They sure are handsome! Gavin looks like a big boy now.

Easter Egg Hunts

The boys certainly liked their egg hunts! They had about 5 or 6 more outside and did not tire of it at all. The weather was perfect for it too.

Making sure his brother gets some of the eggs :)

Enjoying some bunny ears after all of their hard work. They have a lot of work ahead to get through the three baskets they each received! Thanks Grandma & PopPop Russell and Grandma & Grandpa Cacka!!

Easter Morning!!

On Easter morning the boys were super excited to get downstairs to see if the Easter Bunny had visited their house! They grabbed their ears and baskets and were off to find all of those eggs and their baskets.

Gavin kept saying all day, "Found egg!" It never got old ;)

Checking out his loot with Grandma and PopPop

Landon was so cute and so excited!!

He found his basket and is checking out the goodies!

Gavin found his too!

Some books, trains, clothes and of course candy!!

Taste testing ;)...and looking for more!

Ahhh, jackpot!

Egg Painting

The boys had a fun and messy time painting eggs with Grandma, PopPop, Daddy and Mommy over the Easter weekend as well. Since Landon loves everything pirate lately, he had a great time making his pirate eggs for his pirate ship. Gavin enjoyed himself and loved "dipping" everything in the dye.

The Easter Bunny is all set for the morning!
